Last book i read: "Erkennen wat is: Een zenleraar over vrede en engagement" from Bernie Glassman,
Translation from 'Bearing witness: a Zen master's lessons in making peace', again a book that attracts to read etc.
after that i feel small...but thats too 'recognise what is':)...
This Bernie Glassman did does too so much Bernie Glassman

Today, a rainy saturday at 14:35 the next stage: Ajahn Chah: Food for the heart : i saw earlier in the shop.
I was attracted to this book but it was rather bit expensive again; later i saw a trad. of A still forest pool,
that is a book with insightmeditation of Ajahn Chah and it was lowprized so i buy it...
After reading that lowprized book i buy too that other book:)...
Then i seek on the www for Ajahn Chah and found this.

This is the newest part performed here out:
Reading Ajahn Chah's book 'food for the heart' a word moves around: EQUANIMITY in mind.
Not staying in an isolated place or hut (eh house), no , just moving around in the market in the world,
engaged, busy , working etc. all that happens is a possibility to keep the peace of equanimity in mind...
Whether things or people happen or meet, like or dislike, hold on equanimity in moods in mind etc...
The peace of equanimity works through itsself it feels like...eh,
bit by bit accepting too that once one passes all: from fresh birth to old grey aged times with discomfort.
One has between 50 to 100 years to learn to see the truth and accept it once.
This is a very short one...

A still forest pool: composed by J. Kornfield and P.Breitner trad. een stille woudvijver: inzichtmeditatie van Ajahn Chah,
On page 51 I find next:
The mind is like an ape that goes here and there without a goal: you can look after it but the movements
of it are not controlled by calmness and objectivity, no the movements are controlled by attraction and aversion.
You can learn to control the movements by not looking at the ape itself, but by seeing the reality.
See the true nature of the mind (APE) REALLY, which is passing, fleeting, transient, temporary,
unfullfilling and empty...
So let the ape do all things untill he is tired and watch it all, untill there is no more action.....
Next you are not ready by getting dead as a buddha statue, no the enlightenmental point is not in not thinking...

... .. .
but in the see through of the process, which is passing by, unfullfilling and empty of a self...
By training the mind , we go see the things clear, we examine, explore suffering and put the causes on stable...
Thats the only way to get insight; to go see things as they are: feelings are feelings, thoughts are thoughts,
no more, no less; that insight makes an end to all problems...
Very short said: the mind seen as a lotusflower: still in the mud under the water or others in the light of the sun.
If you feel under water then look out for fishes etc. biting after you...
This reading i enjoy myself or whats better say: i see the transforming inside.
i try to decide to leave the ape playing his games and try not to cling to the games of that ape...

After reading "Getting to where you are" by Steven Harrison; trad.: 'je bent al een meditatiemeester',
and burning some incense (olibanum, benzoe, mirre, plus some other),
i have abolished thinking, i am left over between 2 former thoughts, empty thoughts now.

Today i try to see that (REALITY) i am a processing, that begins and stops, never fullfils, and empty of a self...
I will feel pain and loneliness and also positive feelings: none is true for ever lasting...
Its going up and going down; in between i FORGET THAT REALITY again and again: THIS is the source of what we call pain.
Everyday i have to (re)discover to (re)see this forgotten reality...
It seems to be the way i have to learn about life... in a while reading over and over:
'A still forest Pool' by Jack kornfield and Paul Breitner; trad. dutch: Een stille woudvijver: de inzichtmeditatie van Ajahn Chah.
... .. .
silence
... .. .
Thinking is a tool for outside the here and now; inside the here and now i have my responses
which are without thinking at all; hot experiences only possible in the moment that passes...
... .. .
silence
... .. .
Thinking is merely a tool as other tools are just tools...
Nothing that is what i am, and that is timeless here and now present.
After that i was seeking for, my essence really...
